When you describe the book you have read, remember you could be inspiring someone else to read it! Information such as who the author is, the reading level, similar books and plots and themes and characters in the book might be useful. DO NOT GIVE AWAY THE ENDING OR THE LESSONS THE BOOK HAS TO TEACH. These are things that good readers like to discover for themselves.</p>
<p><font color="#ff0000"><u>Special Note:</u> If you find that someone else has written about a book you have read, feel free to enter into a discussion of the book with them. I would love to see some back and forth in- depth discussions on different texts. You can discuss things that puzzled you, characters you disagreed with, and what you might do differently had you written the book. </font></p>
